At Bonita we care about your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect on this website, what we use it for, who we share it with and how you can exercise your rights. If you have questions, write to us at support@bonita.com.

Who is responsible
The controller of your personal data is Noboa Trading, owner of the Bonita brand (“Bonita”, “we”).
You can contact us about any privacy matter at support@bonita.com.
What data we collect
We only collect the data you give us or that the website generates when it works:
- Contact details you type in the form: name, email, phone or WhatsApp, company, job title, country and the message you send us.
- Optional details depending on your profile: if you are a buyer, your estimated weekly volume of boxes; if you are a producer, your farm or cooperative name, location, hectares and current certifications.
- Minimal technical data needed to run and secure the website, such as IP address and browser type, which the hosting service records.
- Website usage data, in aggregate form, measured with Google Tag Manager (see “Cookies and site measurement”).
We do not ask for sensitive data or data about minors. Please do not include them in your message.
What we use your data for
- To answer your inquiry or quotation request.
- To assess and manage a possible business relationship as a buyer or as a partner producer.
- To send you commercial information related to your request, when you have asked for it.
- To keep the website secure and prevent misuse.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data or use it to make automated decisions that affect you.
Why we may process your data
We process your data with your consent, which you give by accepting this policy when you submit the form, and because it is necessary to handle your request and, where applicable, to start a business relationship with you.
You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to support@bonita.com. Withdrawing it does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before.
Who we share your data with
Your message reaches the Bonita and Noboa Trading sales team in charge of handling it. We may also rely on technology providers that act on our behalf and under our instructions, such as website hosting, form delivery, email and measurement of website usage (Google Tag Manager).
We will only share your data with other third parties if the law requires it or if you authorize us to do so.
International transfers
Bonita serves buyers in many countries and uses technology services that may operate outside Ecuador. When your data is transferred abroad, we will do so with measures that protect its confidentiality and with providers that offer adequate safeguards.
How long we keep it
We keep your data for as long as needed to handle your request, maintain the business relationship and meet legal obligations. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
Your rights
You can exercise the following rights over your data at any time, free of charge:
- Access: know what data of yours we process.
- Rectification and update: correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure: ask us to delete your data where applicable.
- Objection and suspension: object to processing or ask for it to stop in the cases provided by law.
- Portability: receive your data in a commonly used format, where applicable.
- Not to be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing.
To exercise them, write to support@bonita.com stating your name and which right you want to exercise. We will reply within the legal deadlines. If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you may contact the competent personal data protection authority.
Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss, unauthorized access, alteration or disclosure. No system is completely infallible, but we work to reduce the risks.
Cookies and site measurement
This website uses Google Tag Manager, a Google service, to measure in aggregate how the website is used (for example, which pages are visited and from what type of device) so we can improve it. For that measurement, cookies or similar identifiers may be used in your browser, and Google may receive technical data such as your IP address and the page you visit.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the website keeps working if you do. If in the future we add other analytics or advertising tools, or a cookie notice, we will update this page.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect legal or website changes. We will publish the current version on this page with its update date.
